Meet Capt. Andy Ennis Old North State Fishing Charter

Captain Andy Ennis is a professional fisherman with 17 years of experience behind him. Fishing is his passion and he would like to share his knowledge and provide a great time on the waters. He made his passion his career last 2021.

Being passionate with inshore fishing, Captain Andy began fishing on the OBX with a friend's boat and no equipment, such as sonar, etc. He had to work hard to find fish, which required a lot of riding and casting. He takes pride in being a successful fisherman and claims to have the fish dialed in right now!

Captain Andy works well with anglers of all skills and ages. You can try various fishing techniques that he employs such as jigging, light tackle, spinning, and popping.

As soon as you join him, you will shove off to one of his secret fishing spots in search of fish to put in the cooler. Once you've caught enough for the cooler you can set out for some fun fishing. He likes to target Red drum and Rockfish as they pull like a freight train. If you're not interested in keeping the fish, you will move around and see just how many species you can catch!

On the OUter Banks the weather is know for changing frequently. Be sure to bring sunglass, hats, sunscreen, bug spray and a few snacks and drinks. Youre welcome to bring alcohol, but id prefer no glass :) Ill have ice and a fish box for storing fish during the trip but I'd reccomend bringing a medium sized cooler to take fih home in if desired. I can clean your fish for you for an added cost of $50. Please note in our industry captains and mates work hard for to provide an above average experience. If you feel like youve had an above average experience becasue of these efforts please be sure to tip accordingly. 20% is customary!
